This week...'Cat Chat'

Did you go plan to get a cat or did your cat find you?  I know a woman who ran a shelter in a large city and in that setting the theory is that a large percent of cat owners passively end up with a cat...or 4....  Rather than deciding to go get one, either a cat wandered up, a kid went off to school leaving the cat behind, etc.  What is your story?

I was about to give you the history of our cats when I remembered that they really don't like to have it discussed in public, particularly the parts that are less than flattering.  So I can only say that these cats are of an unknown lineage and have suspect characters.

And they make funny noises.

The cat came to us via a friend whose little girl neighbor came home from Albertson's with a free kitten. Of course she was not allowed to keep it and my friend was enlisted to find a kind soul (sucker - us) to take it in.................14 years later she bounces from  mom and dads every six months or so. Who in JH claim to own two homes? Lucky cat.

Signed

Slightly allergic to cats

but the dogs and I like her.
