Wyoming Supreme Court says that Legislature is correct in School Finance

http://www.courts.state.wy.us/Opinions/2008WY2.pdf

Justice Marilyn Kite, of the Wyoming Supreme Court (and local resident), issued the Wyoming Supreme Court's opinion today in what is known as Campbell IV.  There have been three previous Campbell cases dealing with the constitutionality of school finance in Wyoming.  The opinion is at the site listed above.  Teton County did well in the case.  We were able to defend the practice of using a cost adjustment for our higher cost of living.  This will really help our local school district in providing for our children.  Hopefully, this is the last Campbell case and the long saga of school finance litigation is over.  I will add to this later, but I wanted to make sure that I got the link up today, since the decision just came out on the web about an hour ago.  The complete gist of the case is that the legislature has done everything right and there is no longer any need for any oversight from the Wyoming Supreme Court.
