Building A Strong Wyoming

Hosted by Wyoming State Representative Keith Gingery of Jackson Hole
Barrasso moves forward on protecing Wyoming Range
Senator Barrasso announced today on the Senate floor that he will be introducing legislation to protect those areas of the Wyoming Range that have not been leased for oil and gas exploration.  He also restated his committment to continuing the designation of the Snake River as a wild and scenic river designation.  The credit goes to so many of you out there that took the time to get John up to speed as to where these two initiatives were at.  I spent time talking with the Senator and more importantly making sure that the Senator spoke with folks I knew that may be able to give him answers to the questions he had.  If there is anything true of Senator Barrasso, it is that he is very meticulous and thorough.  It is important that you continue to support Senator Barrasso in his efforts.  The only opposition to the wild and scenic river designation seemed to be coming from Senator Craig, but that problem seems to have gone away.
