What a Great Fair We Have!
Like many of you, my family has spent the last few days at the County Fair. I just think we have a super fair. I have been going to the Teton County Fair for over 25 years now. And it just gets better and better. I told Senator Barrasso what a great fair we have, so he took me up on my invite, and he visited our fair on Saturday morning. Senator Barrasso and I walked around the fair together, and he was impressed. We stood and talked with Mary Martin, our local Extenstion Agent. This is her 33rd year with the fair. Sally Maher and Clair Carlson, two of our fair board members, and Leland Christensen, the county commissioner liason to the fair, also came along with the Senator to show him around. The Senator met with kids that explained their 4-H projects. I am not sure that the Senator is ready to admit that our fair is better than the Central Wyoming Fair, but I think he was impressed.
